Nicole R. Fisher of BNR Interiors, Inc. is a New York-based interior designer.
Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Nicole began her creative career at a very young age when her superiors noticed her eye for detail.
After receiving her BA from the University of Maryland, Nicole studied fashion design at Parsons the New School for Design in NYC. Soon after, Nicole received an opportunity to work for popstar Lady Gaga on her styling team under Nicola Formichetti. Nicole had life changing opportunities being a part of multi-million dollar music videos, live performances, and high-fashion editorials. She realized styling was a story unlike any other, creating an image on and off the pages of a magazine.
Thus began her passion for interiors. With a similar approach to the world of wardrobe styling, Nicole seamlessly adapted her aesthetic to interiors. She believes one should use their home as their ultimate style platform. Uniquely placed furniture, rich textures, and luxurious furnishings transitioned seamlessly to her experience in editorial styling. But just like fashion, interiors don't have to cost a fortune to look like it did. She is adept at mixing both high and low cost items to ultimately create a cohesive look that looks and feels like lived-in pages of a magazine. As the former Lead Designer for One King’s Lane, Nicole has had the opportunity to work with Lucy Liu and Bobbi Brown on transforming their spaces featured in AD online and Elle Decor.
Today, Nicole still combines her love of both facets of creativity during Fashion Weeks in New York and LA, and with her interior clients across the country.
Nicole Rose currently lives in New York City with her husband and puppy, Whiskey.
